These images were made during a visit to my sister and her family in New Zealand. Both my sister and me have migrated from our home country of Belgium. Eventhough New Zealand is often referred to as Australia’s sisterland it still feels like there is a vast distance between both countries. A few captures in this series were made in Christchurch the year after an earthquake destroyed a large part of the city.
